What do you want others to know about lupus?

We are not just lazy. Stop and ask we might just be in a lot of pain or over tired.

Why is lupus a cruel mystery to you?

I had to change my entire life. I went from being the fun energetic never stopping Mom to a mother that has to say no more often. I sleep more often, I can not do everything I used to with my kids. I have trouble doing simple things, like keeping up with my house work. I would love to have my old life back. 2008 I was bleeding out of my lungs. I fought back and had to learn how to walk again after a month long coma. I endured nine months of chemo turned into a puffy marshmellow from the high doses of steroids. I had to give up my job. On the bright side, I have my life, my children and I am thankful for both of them and my doctors.
