What do you want others to know about lupus?

If someone with lupus appears to need help don't ask them if they need help just help them. Mow their lawn, take out their garbage, fold the laundry because it doesn't hurt you to move but it does us. The hardest part about this disease for me is to ask for help.

Why is lupus a cruel mystery to you?

my sternum has lifted on its own, my legs come out of their joints, my shoulder is now doing the same, my hands hurt so bad I can't feel them, my hair falls out, my eyes are dry all the time, it hurts to move, my back gets so bad I can't stand straight or sit, I have tietze because the lupus is attacking my connective tissue, this pain alone makes me not want to wake some times, emotionally I'm dying. I never needed help before and now I can't ask because I'm still trying to tell myself I'm ok even through all the pain.
