What do you want others to know about lupus?

We may have Lupus, but Lupus doesn't have to have us!

Why is lupus a cruel mystery to you?

Lupus has impacted my life in so many different ways, I've been hospitalized many times over the past several years for complications risen from my Lupus. The biggest impact it has had is being unable to keep up with my rambunctious five year old at times. My friends and I make it into a joke how often I see the doctor, or have different tests done to monitor my disease. If I don't laugh about it, I'll cry, it seems. At the current time, I have about 6 specialists monitoring different complications in different body processes stemming from the disease.
