What do you want others to know about lupus?
As a parent of a daughter with Lupus, I want other to know how much precious time this disease steals away from us. Flare after Flare, tests and more tests, procedure after procedure, Chemo, pain, tears, and some relief. I want to live my life holding her in my arms, promising her it'll be alright. Neither of which I can do, it would be a lie.
Why is lupus a cruel mystery to you?
Muscle, joints, lungs, kidneys, blood count, migraines, weight loss, rashes, craving the outdoors, IVs, blood work, anxiety, memory, craving her life back.
